One of my concerns when Beth came along was about bathing her, everyone had told me that it was tricky as they’re so slippery and wriggly so the last thing I wanted to worry about was how I was going to pick up the baby towel while still holding Beth with both hands in the bath … I was a hand short. Then I saw the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel – it looked perfect.
Suitable from: newborn
Dimensions:
From front of neck to bottom of towel: 106 cm
Width of towel: 73 cm
Hands Free Baby Towel
You simply do not have enough hands when bathing a newborn baby and it’s not always convenient to have another person there to help and hand you everything you need. With the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel there’s one less thing to worry about. As it pops on using a popper around your neck just like an apron you can put it on before you even start running the water and can forget about it until you need it.
A Towel That Protects You Too
Your clothes are protected from any little splashes. As it covers you from chest to your mid calf area (approximately depending on how tall you are) when you’re finished bathing your baby you can simply lift them straight out directly on to your warm Cuddledry covered chest leaving you a hand free to bring up the hood of the towel and wrap them up snug and warm cuddling them dry.
Soft and Kind
The Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel an organic, environmentally friendly and ethically made product. It is super soft, made from naturally grown bamboo fibre and pure unbleached organic cotton.
Easy to Remove
Once you have finished cuddling your baby dry the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel is quick and easy to remove. Simply lay your baby down still close to your chest and before you stand up straight just un-pop the popper holding the apron bath towel around your neck so that your baby is still covered and kept nice and warm – from there you can use the towel as you would any other normal towel.
How to Use The Cuddledry Baby Towel
Cuddledry have a full illustration on their website on how to use the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel as well as a Baby Apron instruction video.
Washing
Easy to keep clean is always a must and the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel can be machine washed at 40 degrees and tumble dry on a low heat – what could be simpler!
Alternative Baby Towels
There is always the option of a regular towel or hooded baby towel but on the occasion when the Cuddledry was in the wash and we had to use the spare hooded towel I always found that Beth would get more upset as I’d have to place her directly on to the towel on the floor, wrap and her and then lift her up. It doesn’t sound like much, but as they get cold so quickly it can quickly turn from a fun bath to a very unhappy and cold baby.
Cuddledry Designs
There are a number of designs to choose from: Blue Gingham, Pink Gingham, Oatmeal/White, Cowprint/White, Blue/White, Pink/White, Blue Gingham Edge and Pink Gingham Edge
Cuddledry For Older Children
When Beth was too long to use the Cuddledry, I was sad that we could no longer use the Cuddledry Baby Apron Bath Towel as no other towel is quite as soft and cosy – but then I discovered the Toddler Dress-Up Towels: Cuddleroar, Cuddlemoo and Cuddlebug!!
