The first steps are so wobbly and once your little one has decided they’ve had enough of holding on to the furniture to get from place to place there is suddenly a very large gap to get across the room. We looked at a couple of different walkers, but not all of them also doubled as baby toys and we loved the idea of turning a walker in to something that would hopefully last past Beth being able to walk so opted for the Fisher Price Walker.
Suitable from: 9 months upwards
Dimensions: 48.3 x 12.7 x 40.6 cm
Amusement for the passenger
It’s nice to know that the doll, bear or other lucky toy has things to keep them amused such as a flip book, roller bar, side spinners and a wiggly musical bear that plays 3 cute little tunes
The wide wheel base and sturdy handle of the Fisher Price Walker provide good support while baby is taking their first steps and even on hard flooring it doesn’t whizz away leaving your little one behind like a regular toy pushchair would.
Transportation and Imagination
Now Beth can walk without this, she still gets lots of pleasure from it using it as play pushchair but was a little disappointed that she couldn’t fit in it too!
Fisher Price My First Doll
We got the Fisher Price My First Doll with the Fisher Price Walker as some dolls with long legs and feet can end up getting stuck on the way out of the pushchair, which can cause frustration but this doll has little round legs and feet so she’s easy to pop in and out without any worry.
She is super soft so perfect for cuddling up to and suitable from birth, has two cute little curls and a very gently rattle when you shake her.
