When I first came across the Natural and Clean range I was a bit skeptical, I wasn’t sure what to expect from natural baby cleaning products – but the new baby range exceeded my expectations and now I can’t stop showing everyone I know how Whoops-a-daisyworks – it’s amazing!

Natural and Clean Whoops-a-daisy!
This product is amazing, it’s the only word I can use to describe it. The first thing I did when I tested Whoops-a-daisy out was spill some water on the floor, sprinkle the powder directly on to it and waited a couple of minutes to see what happened next. Sure enough the crystals expanded and absorbed the liquid, as I first tested on tiles I simply used my dustpan and brush and swept the jelly like substance up from the floor and there was no evidence it was ever there – no mark at all, so I didn’t even have to give it a quick wipe afterwards as I was expecting I might have to. It looked like I could pretty much peel the jelly from the floor with my fingers if I wanted to.
When I tested Whoops-a-Daisy for this review and to take pictures I used milk on my wooden worktops and again sprinkled the powder over the spillage and watched as it crystalised! Once it had crystalised I used my daughter’s pink dustpan and brush (as it looks a lot nicer than mine!!) to ease it away from the worktop, although you could probably even pick it up with your fingers, although you would still need to sweep away the excess powder.
It’s very strange, but amazing stuff and doesn’t have an aroma either. Whoops-a-daisy is non toxic and biodegradable as well as being safe to use around children and animals. If you’re just about to start potty training I would definitely recommend this product for any little accidents.
The bottle has a safety cap for added security and small holes on the top so you don’t end up pouring the whole lot out in one go. I really wish I had found Whoops-a-Daisy when my daughter was first born.
Natural and Clean Spot Remover Wipes
The Spot Remover Wipes aren’t like any other wipe I’ve seen or used before, they have a texture to them and they are moist enough to get rid of a spot or spill but not enough to make the area wet. They’re particularly handy to have around when you are just about to step out of the door, everyone looks pristine and then from nowhere a sticky hand appears and usually you would either get yourself or your little one changed or end up leaving the house with a big wet mark on your top from cleaning it with a wet cloth. As the Spot Remover Wipes dry to a powder you don’t have to worry about having to also quickly dry yourself off with a hairdryer (or hand dryer if you’re out!!) and thinking it would have been quicker to get changed!
Although not included in the list of uses, I also found that they made my stainless steel bread bin sparkle (after a quick polish off with a dry cloth).
I think the best thing is that the Spot Remover Wipes don’t leave big wet patches behind after using them, not only great for spots on clothes but also if sticky fingers get on your sofas for example, you don’t have to keep avoiding the wet area all day.
Natural & Clean Bin Deodoriser
I tested out the Bin Deodoriser on my regular kitchen bin while the bag was in as it can get smelly really quickly, what with cat food pouches, general waste and nappies too. Each time I opened the bin and it didn’t smell too good I just gave it a quick spritz with the Natural and Clean Bin Deodoriser that I kept next to the bin. The next time I opened the bin lid the smell was definitely not as powerful and I could smell the natural and subtle smell of the Bin Deodoriser, without that then being overpowering – although as with the other products in this range the fragrance is natural, fresh and clean.
We don’t have wheelie bins in our area, but I think if we did I would certainly have a bottle of Natural and Clean Bin Deodoriser handy for it, particularly after bin collection day. You can either spray the Bin Deodoriser directly in to an open bin liner that’s already in use in a bin or use it between bin liners to freshen the bin itself. I think if you also have a dedicated nappy bin it would be useful to keep that fresher too.
As with the Spot Remover Wipes, Natural and Clean Bin Deodoriser is solvent and phosphate free. The bottle also has a safety catch so you can close it off when it’s not in use – although it’s not completely child proof as a little spray can come out with the catch on, so I would recommend keeping it out of reach anyway.
Other products in the Natural and Clean baby range
Natural and Clean also have an Essential Baby Clean Up Kit that contains all of the above products in handy travel sizes so it’s perfect for keeping in the car or your change bag.
