In our house this isn’t called a Fairy Princess Tent …. this has been upgraded and is called a Fairy Princess CASTLE! I can see why Beth thinks it’s a castle – there are bricks around the window and it has a large flag at the top and of course all Princesses live in castles.
Before the Fairy Princess Castle arrived, I imagined it would be lovely and Beth would enjoy playing in it. However, when it arrived I was blown away – it’s amazing and Beth loves it, in fact I have a hard time convincing her that she can’t sleep in it … unless …. maybe … a custom mattress perhaps?!?!
I love this Princess Castle from Big Game Hunters, it’s very pretty, really high quality and I can see it lasting a long long time.

Putting it Together
The Fairy Princess Castle arrives un-assembled, the frame is made from thick sturdy wooden poles and plastic joints, which are screwed in to place. Before I even had all the bits out of the box Beth knew exactly how to get the kids play tent assembled and just got stuck in putting the poles and joints together. The instructions are really easy to follow and although it would be quicker to do with two adults just Beth and I constructed it quite quickly together.
The only part of the frame that is not screwed together is the bottom frame, which can be easily removed from the rest of the tent – once this is off you can maneuver it between rooms as once it’s up it’s quite wide and wouldn’t fit straight through a standard door way.
The quality is really what impressed me with the Fairy Princess Castle, the material is a really lovely thick canvas, which adds a lovely weight and feeling of quality to this play tent – it is painted with pretty flowers and butterflies, hearts on the door and bricks around the window.
Windows and Door
Beth prefers her doors and windows shut, but if your child will let you all three windows and the main door can be rolled up and tied in place, which creates a really lovely light and airy tent. I can imagine this would be lovely when using the kids play tent outside in the summer with a light breeze blowing through.
Where to Buy a Princess Castle
The Fairy Princess Castle Tent can be purchased directly from Big Game Hunters as well as other gorgeous indoor tents and outside wooden playhouses.
This company also sells the most gorgeous outside playhouses as well … I particularly love the Funky “wonky” Houses.
